Services We Offer
Physical
Therapy
We customize a treatment plan to meet your needs, including Pilates-based movement and exercise, manual therapy, correction of faulty patterns and pain management.
Neurokinetic (NKT®) Therapy
Helping the nervous system correct faulty movement or pain patterns. Specialized neuromuscular testing & intervention to create immediate changes.
Pilates-Based Fitness & Movement
Pilates is not a set of exercises, but a method of movement that optimizes good alignment, balances muscle strength and flexibility and integrates full-body patterns.
MSTR® Scar Tissue Release
Every part of our body is connected via fascia, so an injury or surgery or area with inflammation can create an abnormal tension or pull. This pull can add stress or change the alignment for other areas, as well as inhibiting normal circulation and energy flow in the body. MSTR can help to identify these areas and gently and progressively reduce the abnormal pull and help things move more freely again.
Visceral Manipulation (VM)
The organs of our body & fascia that envelope them connect us head to toe. VM is a gentle manual treatment that helps your body to release excess areas of tension/strain in that fascia. It also helps to promote circulation and support healthy function of the abdominal organs. VM can support and improve gut health, the immune system, and the body’s ability to process medications and manage stress among many other things, as well as helping related pain and dysfunction associated with those issues.
Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Each of our bodies has an “innate intelligence” that knows how to find balance and continually work to heal itself. Sometimes our bodies become overwhelmed from the layers of traumas (physical & emotional) and stressors it has adjusted to over a lifetime. An illness, injury or life change may tip the scales, making the body feel overwhelmed. CST helps to facilitate & enhance the body’s own natural abilities and support its own unique process and pathway to rebalancing and returning to health.
Testimonials
Responsiveness, punctuality. extremely good at individual therapy, 1 visit better than my 1 year visit with another physical therapy. I am a family physician, volunteered this impression. Lucky to run into Dr. Fisher.

Heidi is an excellent physical therapist who assessed my low back and sacral pain with a thorough and comprehensive evaluation! She was very informative and knowledgeable and had a diverse skill set to develop exercises specifically for my body and issues. And my back feels great now! I still use the exercises. I would 100% see her again for physical therapy or a Pilates session!
Brianna C.
Heidi is a highly skilled professional with an extensive set of clinical skills and knowledge. She provides a comprehensive package of care but does so in a very personable manner, this gives a rare combination of being at ease and fully trusting someone to take care of your needs in the best way possible.

Heidi is a sensitive, caring and knowledgeable practitioner. She is careful to communicate in a concise manner and to seek feedback. And she has a great smile and encouraging manner.

Sudden soft tissue discomfort had me talking with Dr. Fisher. She was able to help me feel better very quickly and taught me how to keep the pain at bay with ice and gentle massage. She is a quick, excellent evaluator and was able to help me regain the ability to climb up low walls again. My balance is better and so is my mobility.

Heidi is amazing. She not only tests your body to see where problems may be, she educates you along the way. I feel empowered because I understand what's happening and why I get homework. I do my homework; I can call or text her with questions or concerns. We always start and end on time. Her space is clean and safe. I'm improving and to me that's the bottom line.
Kyla M.
Dr. Fisher was very professional, yet warm. She listened to my concerns and took the time to discern the underlying mechanics that were the cause of the problem. She demonstrated exercises that I could practice on my own to continue the treatment. Her treatment recommendations were instrumental in my recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Fisher to anyone who is looking for compassionate, thorough and quality care.

Heidi tailored her individual sessions based on my needs. In addition, the online basic pilates sessions she conducted were excellent and helped me continue my workouts at home.

Dr. Fisher (PhD in Physical Therapy) is amazing. She listens, tailors her expertise to your needs at your first visit. One visit with her surpassed 1 year with my insurance directed physical therapists.

JoAnn B.
Dr. Fisher is marvelous. She is helping me with several chronic problems. After 3 visits I can tell the difference!
Tessa B.
Receiving quality physical therapy treatment when needed was very important. Follow-up Pilates is especially good for those of us mature in years. One can maintain the strength of the critical core and address specific strength and flexibility issues which vary from day to day. Dr. Heidi is adept in adjusting each Pilates session to the needs of the moment and the long range needs of the individual.
David L.
A Wise Move Physical Therapy and Pilates was recommended to me by my physician for chronic low back pain and sciatica. After 5 one hour sessions I am definitely feeling better. I appreciated Heidi’s attention to subtle posture and “misbehaving” major and minor muscles that were causing pain. She gave me her undivided attention during every session as well as simple homework stretches and easy but effective exercises. I would recommend a visit to anyone needing to regain body control and reduce discomfort.
Ken H.
Excellent knowledge of PT and the ways in which to use it. If I wasn't Moving I would go back immediately.
